What a wonderful lady. The world was a kinder place with her in it. Our mother was Jo Ruth, Jean’s sister. My mother and father moved out to Washington in the late 40’s and Jean was practically our last link to the Midwest clan. Her frequent calls were always full of joy and hope and they will be missed. But, not as much as the gracious woman herself. Our prayers are for those who will miss her most, her family.

I am so sorry for your families loss. When I think of Jean, I think of what a “lady” she was. She lived her life as a great example for others. Some of my best memories in my childhood and teenage years were of Amy Church and Jean as my Sunday School teacher and she and Jimmy traveling with our youth group to sing at other churches. I was blessed to visit with Jean again when doing her hair when filling in for Vivian. We talked not long ago after Jimmy passed away in regards of having a “Mother’s Heart” and how the grief never went away. I am so glad tonight that she will be reunited with Ann and Jimmy. God Bless, ~vicki~

So many fond memories of time spent with the family during visits to Gpa John and Gma Iva’s farm, and the families getting together. Aunt Jean always had a smile and kind words. It was always a joy to see the sisters get together at these times, and watch the love that flowed from our families. Jean will be missed, but will always be in our hearts.

To each of the Campbell family: I can remember so many memories of both Jean & Beach, from the time our family first moved to West Plains, and began attending Amy Union Church. I will always have the fondest memories of both, along with each of the kids and Grandkids, as well! I always loved Beach, from the time that I was little, and of course, when I was an adult, and got the opportunity to meet you Dan, you, we’re just like your Dad in so many ways. And, Jean, was a very sweet and dear friend, chatting nearly daily, with my Momma, before she passed. I will always remember her as one of the most genuinely proper ladies, that I was ever blessed to know. I will miss her, but, I know that she is exactly where, we will be meeting her again one day soon. All my love and prayers, extending out to each one of you.
