She was a beautiful lady, who I am so proud to have called her my Aunt Kittie for over 50 years. I will miss her terribly! I could call her at ANYTIME day or night and she would always answer. She could keep me on the phone for hours just chatting. She always told me how much she loved me and how proud she was of me. As my heart breaks, she is rejoicing with all those loved ones that have gone before her. She will continue to live in our hearts and memories! She had a love for Knick knacks of elephants. Most of them were gifted to her. I could write a book about her, but I’ll cherish these memories.

    The Vaughn and White Families,

We want to extend our deepest sympathy to all of you on Kittie’s passing. My Dad, Norris Cozort, was distantly related to Kittie and we attended church with her as well at Curry Street. During this difficult time may God comfort, encourage, strengthen, and give each of you peace. All of you will be in our daily prayers. Kittie was a wonderful, caring person and a joy to be around. May God bless all of you.
    In Christian Love,
    Norris/Ivene Cozort

I was so saddened to hear of Kittie’s passing. She was such a loving and sweet “cousin”. Always had a smile and a hug when she saw you. Also the loss of Fred in the same week was a shock. Fred always has had a special place in my heart. He stepped in when I had no way to get to volley ball games a couple times when I was in 8th grade. That meant a lot to me, My Love and prayers for all of the White family. May God be with, bless, and comfort you in the days ahead.

I just heard of your brother Fred’s passing and went to meet your sister Frankie for the first time last night when I went to pay my respects only to find out about you leaving us just two days before Fred. I am sure I’m lesser off for never meeting my two cousins before your passing. My condolences go out to the immediate family at this time and wish all my cousins well.
