Lucille left us too soon. She was such a gracious and beautiful woman, inside and out, who was one of the few people I’ve encountered in my life who truly lived her faith. I will treasure knowing her, learning from her, receiving her wisdom and advice, our talks, and the adventures we shared. We had lots of laughs but for the last 40 years, we were each other’s confidant, too. She will be deeply missed.

I’m happy I got to visit her in the nursing home. She was so lucid, clear of mind, and aware of everything going on. We had such a wonderful conversation. It was nice to be able to tell her I loved her and thank her for the wonderful care she provided me throughout my youth.

So sorry for your loss. I loved visiting with Lucille and getting to know her. I loved the way she talked and laughed. She had a very distinct voice, and I always knew it was her on the phone before she would identify herself. My life has been Blessed in knowing Lucille!!!
