We are neighbors to these wonderful people in Mammoth Springs. So sorry to learn of her passing. She was a wonderful person and always had a smile. Our hearts go out to Mr Jim! We will miss her greatly

How small our worlds are…I have always felt a special kinship to Sue and Chuck Mincks and now it makes so much sense. It was a delight to learn that Chuck’s parents inhabited the same town that my parents have lived in since 1972. Country folk too. My father was born and raised in West Plains, moved to Iowa to find work, met mom, raised 5 kids, but always wanted to go “home”. I now have two sisters who loved the area so much that they have also lived there with their families since the 70’s. I have made many a trip to West Plains and the area is so vibrant with change; yet very folksy and neighborly as many “southern” people are.
I enjoyed so much reading about your mother’s life and, just by knowing Chuck and Sue, I know the influence and character that she espoused on those she loved. May you enjoy precious memories and God bless your family.
