Ann and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Doug was a good man. He was compassionate for the people in his community, he was an exemplary professional and a perfect role model for of us in the law enforcement field. But most importantly. I have assisted Doug with many investigations and he was ‘the best’. But most importantly he loved his family dearly. My prayers for you. We have lost a good, good man. Don Richardson

My interest in becoming a state trooper was because of the influence of my neighbor Doug Loring. Years later as an investigator I got the chance to work with Doug on many occasions and always learned something from him. Big heart, big man, great friend, great neighbor. Thank you for your service Doug, you protected and served our State well.

To the Loring family, you will be in my prayers for healing and comfort. Remember all the good times and take solace that he suffers no more. May God Bless you all.

Ann and family – So sorry about the passing of Doug. We do know that he is in a better place and will suffer no more. I have always considered all the Loring family as my friends, but I am closer to Barbie, because she traveled in the horse circle with Donnie and I since they were kids. God bless your family. Linda
