Martha, So very sorry to hear this news of our classmate’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Our class reunions will never be the same without Victor. I hope you find comfort in knowing he was so well thought of by all of us.
With love and prayers…David and Carrie

Vic was one of the classmates I always wanted to see however briefly during our class reunions. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him. My condolences to family members who will miss him even more.

My deepest sympathy to Martha and all of Victor’s family. I remember him as a small boy both at Davis Creek school and at church.

Martha, I was so sorry to hear about Vic. You know he was more like a sibling to all of us than a first cousin since we grew up so close together. It is so unbelievable that he and Bert are both gone now. I hate it so badly that I can’t be there with you. If it were any time except Christmas, I would have made the trip. The last couple of days I have been reflecting on some of the funnier stories that Vic was so good at telling, and smiling at how entertaining he always was. He will be sorely missed. God bless you and your family as you deal with this great loss.

Victor was a classmate, but with me living so far away, it was only at the reunions that we talked. My deepest sympathy to the family.

Martha, I have been gone and just saw that Victor had passed away. He was such a good man. When anyone mentioned Victor, that is always what I thought. He faced any problem like the good farmer he was..straight on and with courage. How important it is to be a good man!

Martha, I grew up with Victor. I remember him as a very “spirited” lyoung boy. In fact, even though I am two years older, I very often was afraid of him. But what a wonderful, gentle man he grew up to be. Our fathers shared many fishing trips, and our mothers shared a wonderful friendship.
My condolences to you and your family. May you be conforted by happy memories.

Martha and family…I was so sorry to learn when I got home from Kansas City this evening (Friday) that Vics’ serevices were today. Especially so when we had to miss your anniversary celebration, too. Felt I particularly needed a word with Aaron, it has been so long since we last saw him. Margaret and I remembered those fun ‘square dance days’ and all the happy times we were able to share with you and Vic. We hope all the happy memories you two shared will helpl fill the void you now feel.

Martha and Family… I was so sorry to learn when I got home from Kansas City this Friday evening that Vic and died and services were today. Margaret and I especially would have liked to have a word with ‘our’ boy, Aaron. We had to miss your Anniversary, too, and wanted to see all of you then. We hope all the rich memories help fill the huge void you all feel now. Laurel R. Thompson
