Ronald Nash Aldrich, 91, Cabool, Missouri, died 9:20 p.m., Thursday, February 9, 2017 at his home in Cabool.

Mr. Nash was born May 13, 1925 at Austin, Minnesota, the son of Willard Nash Aldrich and Hazel Elizabeth Bulson Aldrich.  On April 13, 1996, he was married in State of Alaska to Cheryl Ann Becker.  Before his retirement, Mr. Aldrich had served twenty years with the United States Air Force.  He was a member of Soul Harbor’s Church, West Plains.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Harris-Aldrich, Cabool, Missouri; five children, Guy Willard Nash Aldrich, Joy Beth Harrell, husband, Mert and children, Tracy Sullivan, Mylanda Klein and Dennis Guy Harrell, Uriah Harris, wife, Shanese and son, Shamar, Josiah Harris, wife, Sofia and son, Noah and Heidi Hayes and children, Cheyenne, Wesley and Alexis; many great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Shirley Jane Aldrich.

His parents, first wife, Dorothy Mylanda Aldrich and one grandson, James Scott Harrell, precede him in death.

She was born February 17, 1960, at Ventura, California, to James Alexander Tyyska and Omeda Edith Freeman Adams.  Janine loved photography and working with children.

She is survived by her husband, Louis LoCastro; one son, Michael J. Adams; her mother, Omeda Adams; four brothers, Ronald Dean Tyyska and fiance’ Hannah, Allen Earl Adams and wife, Jennifer, James Tyyska, Jr., and wife, Virginia and  James Adams; six sisters, Becky L. Potter and husband, Arnold, Carol Ann Tyyska, Elizabeth Ann Wagner, Toni Marie Marcum, Beverly Kay Rodriguez and husband, Michael and Leona Ruth Adams; many nieces and nephews; and her special very best friend, Leticia Thompson and her son, Love Bugg.

Her father, James Alexander Tyyska, step-father, Allen Elwood Adams, one brother, Melford Adams and her grandparents, William and Margaret Freeman and Alexander and Martha Tyyska, precede her in death.

Mr. Capeder passed away at 7:23 a.m., Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Brooke Haven Healthcare.

He was born October 3, 1926, at Lumbrein, Switzerland, to Casper G. Capeder and Maria Giger Capeder.  He was married February 3, 1956 in Switzerland, to Marie-Theres Niederberger, who preceded him in death.  Mr. Capeder was a life time member of the Catholic Church.

He is survived by seven children, Maria Heer and husband, Hans, Rita Gilfus and husband, Kenneth Sr., Monica Martin and husband, Mark, Joseph Capeder and wife, Tina, Marcus Capeder, Tony Capeder and Lucius Capeder and wife, Joyce; sixteen grandchildren, Mathias Heer, Daniel Heer, Kenneth Gilfus, Jr., Kimberly Gilfus, Grant Martin, Nicklaus Martin, Gabriel Martin, Rebekah Gilday and husband, Tim, Makaila McGinness and husband, Keegan, Marcus Capeder, Jr., Joshua Capeder, Nathan Capeder and wife, Madalyn, Zach Capeder and wife, Brittney, Jacob Capeder and wife, Jennifer, Jordan Capeder and Kaleb Capeder; six great-grandchildren and one on the way, Kenneth Gilfus, Addison, Elloree, Preslee, Autumn and Frinley Capeder; nine brothers and sisters all residing in Switzerland; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services for Riley Daniel Fox, 71, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 9, 2017 at State Line Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Fox passed away at 3:45 p.m., Sunday, February 5, 2017 surrounded by the people he loved in the home he built.

He was born September 6, 1945, at Crider, Missouri, to Everett Nelson Fox and Wretha Spencer Fox.  On July 8, 1963, he was married to Linda Lou Shannon.  Mr. Fox was a Carpenter and left his legacy through the beautiful homes he built.  His hobbies included “Tractor Therapy” on his farm and building furniture.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Fox, of the family home; one son, Dean Fox and wife, Amy, Pekin, Illinois; one daughter, Cindy Fox, Springfield, Missouri; four grandsons, Rick Fox and wife, Lacy, Dane Norris, Aaron Norris and Sean Tippey; two granddaughters, Tiffany Harper and husband, Riley and Julia Tippey; four great-grandchildren, Rylie, Stetson and Sawyer Fox and Madison Harper; two brothers, Melvin Fox and Darrell Fox; one sister, Phyllis Hollingsworth; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Sam.

His parents, one precious infant; two brothers, Hollis Fox and Herman Fox and two sisters, Lillian Fox and Velmos Collins, precede him in death.

Roy F. Lester, Jr. went to be with the Lord on February 3, 2017.

He was born on the family farm in Fulton County, Arkansas, to Roy F. Lester, Sr. and Johnnie May Pemberton Lester.  He graduated from Bakersfield High School.  He attended the University of Missouri and graduated from Arizona State University.  He joined the United States Air Force, entering the aviation cadet program.  During his career he flew several models of trainer and fighter aircraft.  He served in the Vietnam conflict.  His last assignment was as the 1300^th MAC Squadron Commander at Howard Air Base, Panama.  After his Air Force career, he returned to Missouri and went into the real estate business and ranching.  Roy loved his Lord, his family and his church.  As a deacon at the First Baptist Church, he served on the Benevolence Committee from its inception until recently.  For twenty five years, he was on the board of West Vue Homes, Inc.  He especially enjoyed Wednesday golf games with his buddies and traveling with his wife and family.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Pattye Powell Lester; a son, Peter F. Lester (Martha) and a daughter, Karen J. Lester; three grandchildren, Trajan V. Lester (Hannah), Asha A. Lester and Erin E. Lester; and three great-grandchildren, Amelia A. Lester, Oliver B. Lester and William F. Lester; one sister, Cora Lee Lester Sell (Dwain) and one brother, W. D. Lester; and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Noblitt passed away at 1:34 a.m., Friday, February 3, 2017 at Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Missouri.

He was born January 21, 1932, at Robinson, Illinois, to Bruce Cline Noblitt and Nell Findley Noblitt.  Mr. Noblitt was a Veteran, having served with the United States Air Force.  On March 1, 1959, he was married at Folkston, Georgia, to Ann Lynn Fraser.  Before his retirement, Mr. Noblitt was a heavy equipment operator and truck driver.  He was a life member of the North American Fishing Club and enjoyed fishing and hunting.  Mr. Noblitt was a member of Amy Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-seven years, Ann Noblitt; three children, Cindy Williams and husband, Tuck, Ann Louise Hilliard and husband, Paul and Paul Norman Noblitt; thirteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and twins on the way; one brother, Gale Noblitt and wife, Ruby; three sisters, Chloe Pierce and husband, Tom, Geneva Freeman and Kay Tuttle and husband, Bob; one brother-in-law, John Voorhees; and several nieces and nephews.

His parents, one sister, Lois Voorhees and two brothers-in-law, Jerry Sims and John Freeman, precede him in death.

She was born May 10, 1927, at Willow Springs, Missouri, to Sidney Thomas Rainey and Alpha Ethel Segrist Rainey.  On April 1, 1946, she was married at Willow Springs, Missouri, to Alvin Lee German, who preceded her in death on April 26, 1994.  Mrs. German was a homemaker and enjoyed playing piano and quilting.  She loved visiting and talking to people; and always said she never met a stranger.  Mrs. German was a member of First Baptist Church, Willow Springs, Missouri.

She is survived by five children, Sidney German and wife, Marcella, Springfield, Missouri, Eugene German and wife, Sandy, Marshfield, Missouri, James German and wife, Mary, Union, Missouri, Susie German, Marshfield, Missouri and Rosie Pace, Springfield, Missouri; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Andrew Rainey and wife, Helen; four sisters, Ola Hawkins, Pearl Rainey, Pat Robinson and June Chaney; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Faulkner passed away at 10:45 a.m., Sunday, January 29, 2017 at her home.

She was born April 1, 1941, at West Plains, Missouri, to Arthur “Doc” Thompson and Mary Yocham Thompson.  On June 16, 1961, she was married at West Plains, Missouri, to Paul Faulkner.  Mrs. Faulkner was a homemaker and had worked part time at R & S Floral and Brazeal Processing; she enjoyed her flowers and yard sales.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Faulkner; one daughter, Paula Mize and husband, Rick; two grandchildren, Rickie Mize and fiancée, Hallie Horne and Courtland Faulkner; two great-grandchildren, Rhiannon Mize and Brandon Marcak; one brother, Steve Thompson and wife, Bonabeth; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Harris passed away at 9:40 p.m., Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Care Manor Nursing & Rehab.

She was born August 22, 1934, at Elijah, Missouri, to Vince Samuel Evans and Tavie Bell Dodson Evans.  On July 12, 1954, she was married at Salem, Arkansas, to James Harris, who preceded her in death November 21, 2011.   Mrs. Harris was a strong hard working woman and always did what she had to do.  She worked at several different factories, was a CNA and a homemaker.  She was a member of the Eastern Star, Bakersfield, Missouri and enjoyed music, sewing and flowers.  Her family was very important to her, especially her grandchildren, who she called her “Dirty Dozen”.  Mrs. Harris was a Christian and was saved at an early age.

She is survived by four children, Delores June Evans, Mountain Grove, Missouri, Wanda Lou Evans and husband, Bob, Mountain Home, Arkansas, Carolyn Jean Orterry and life partner, Duane Thur, West Plains, Missouri and John Clayton Harris and wife, Mary, Springfield, Missouri; twelve grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; one brother, Lawrence Edward Evans and wife, Jeanie, Caulfield, Missouri; two sisters, Loretta Milstead and husband, Darrell, Mountain Home, Arkansas and Carolyn Sue Peterman and husband, Jack, Caulfield, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Carter passed away at 11:05 p.m., Friday, January 27, 2017 at Ozarks Medical Center.

He was born January 14, 1932, at Sycamore, Missouri, to Milo and Mellie Warren Carter.  On August 27, 1956, he was married at Mendota, Mississippi, to Wanda Loretta Smith, who preceded him in death May 13, 2004.  Mr. Carter was a veteran, having served with the United States Navy on the USS St. Paul during the Korean Conflict.  Prior to his retirement, he worked at the International Shoe Factory and was a Taxidermist; he was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.  Mr. Carter was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by one son, Doug Carter and wife, Denise; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and two on the way; and several special friends.

His parents, wife, one son, David Allen Carter and eleven brothers and sisters, precede him in death.

Another life taken from this world too soon. That is all that can be said about Patricia McAllister, whom passed away January 24, 2017 in West Plains, Missouri after her courageous battle with cancer.

Known as Patty to all of her friends and family, she was a devoted Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. Married to husband Paul for 34 years, she lived for her family. She never would have guessed her life would take her so far, her journey taking her on a path including Minnesota, North Dakota, Florida, Virginia, and finally to Missouri.  Throughout her travels, she found happiness in annual beach trips with her family. When the ocean waves were not crashing outside her door, her time was occupied honing her counted-cross-stitch skills, watching various television programs, listening to music, and caring for her two Chihuahuas. Her family was always her center of attention, with her grandchildren being her latest pride. She spent considerable time providing advice, love, and attention, regardless the distances separating her from those she loved. She will be missed greatly.

She was born September 24, 1961, at Sioux City, Iowa, to James Niehus and Helen Traufler Niehus.  On July 24, 1982, she was married at Wadena, Minnesota, to Paul McAllister.

She is survived by her husband, Paul McAllister, of the family home; four children, Dominic McAllister and wife, Erin and Jami Richmond and husband, Josh, all of State of Florida and Elizabeth Skiles and husband, Jacob and Jason McAllister, all of West Plains; three grandchildren, Parker Richmond, Zoe Richmond and Abigail Skiles; one brother, Phillip Niehus and wife, Janet, Craig, Iowa; two sisters, Mary Miller and husband, Floyd, Bismarck, North Dakota and Bonnie Vorderbruggen, Luverne, Minnesota; and many nieces and nephews.

Her parents precede her in death.

Mrs. Collins passed away at 7:05 p.m., Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at NHC Healthcare.

She was born March 13, 1926, at Dora, Missouri, to Lee John Thompson and Elma Erma White Thompson.  Lola graduated from Dora High School with the Class of 1944 and on November 20, 1948, she was married at West Plains, Missouri, to Arlin Roe Collins, who preceded her in death February 9, 2003.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and push mowing her yard.

She is survived by six children, Jearld Collins and wife, Vivian, Stanley Collins and friend, Rita, Diana Carter and husband, Larry, David Collins and wife, Deann, Anna Smith and husband, Don and Jeannette Center and husband, Harold; fourteen grandchildren, Deanna Hewett, Darla Gregory, Valerie Hockstedler, Debbie Strong, Andrea Scherff, Angie Falwell, Jared Collins, Kevin Collins, Kim Collins, Stephanie Minge, Weston Carter, Joey Collins, Christina and LeeAnn; twenty-six great-grandchildren; sixteen great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Bill Thompson; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Libby passed away at 12:15 a.m., Monday, January 23, 2017 at West Vue Nursing Center.

She was born June 28, 1930, at Des Moines, Iowa, to Paul Oglesbee and Marjorie Neva Huss Oglesbee.  On June 29, 1947, she was married at Winterset, Iowa, to Dale Frank Libby, who preceded her in death on April 19, 2009.  They were married for sixty-two years.  Mrs. Libby had worked as a nurse’s aide at West Vue Nursing Center, before her retirement.  She enjoyed sewing and loved her family, church family and never met a stranger.  She showered her loved ones with lots of hugs and kisses.  Mrs. Libby was a member of Victory Family Worship Center.

Kassie passed away at 2:20 p.m., Thursday, January 19, 2017 at her home.

She was born July 15, 1999, at West Plains, Missouri, to Dan Lee Cody and Crystal Dawn Rowlett Cody.  Kassie was a senior at Willow Springs High School and was interested in Vo-Tech Auto Body and Collison repair; she planned to further her education in the field.  Kassie loved her old flatbed truck.  She was a girly country girl with a heart of gold.  Kassie had an amazing singing voice and loved to sing; she was a princess, always singing. Kassie loved everyone and enjoyed hunting and spending time with her family, especially her sisters, who were her best friends.  She was known for putting on her make up, then going to skin a deer or holding a cross bow while wearing her prom dress.  She was a past cheerleader, member of the color guard and played the flute in band.  Kassie was a member of the Westside Family Life Center.

She is survived by her parents, Dan Cody, West Plains and Crystal Cody, Pomona, Missouri; three sisters, Lexxie Leigh Cody, Piper James Kellogg and Peyton Jade Cody; special cousins, she loved as siblings, Lailla Storey and Sean Cody; maternal grandparents, Calvin Buckner and Thelma Sisco; paternal grandparents, Debra Alexander and Clay Alexander; several aunts and uncles; many cousins; and an abundance of friends.

He was born September 30, 1921, at West Plains, Missouri, to Lonzo Hollingshad and Mae Summers Hollingshad.  He was married to Johnnie Mae “Jackie” McCandlis, who preceded him in death April 5, 1980.  In March of 1984, he was married to Lillie Edith Hubbard, who preceded him in death May 27, 2007.  Mr. Hollingshad was a veteran, having served with the United States Army.  He was a Medic during World War II and was in several battles and campaigns, including Rhineland, North France, Normandy, Ardennes and Central Europe.  He was awarded five Bronze Stars, Good Conduct Medal, European African Middle East Theater Campaign Ribbon, Victory Ribbon and four Overseas Bars.  Mr. Hollingshad was a farmer and worked in construction; he enjoyed hunting and fishing.  Mr. Hollingshad was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.

He is survived by one son, Joe Harold Hollingshad and wife, Gina, Drury, Missouri; two grandchildren, Chance Hollingshad, Drury, Missouri and Courtney Stevens and husband, Nick, Thayer, Missouri; three great-grandchildren, Levi Hollingshad, Allie Hollingshad and Mia Stevens; one sister, Ruth Rickard, West Plains, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.

His parents, wives, two brothers, Noel and Virgil Hollingshad and three sisters, Opal Carte, Vera Stark and Louise Hollingshad, precede him in death.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Veterans Honor Guard of West Plains and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

A visitation service will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., Friday, January 20, 2017, in the Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home for family members and close friends of Emily Ann Eagans Parks, 58, West Plains, Missouri.

Emily Ann Eagans Parks, has passed on from this place but leaves behind a great many sweet memories and works of  her hand which will certainly carry on the love she held for her family and close friends.  Emily was very loyal to those she cared for and was definitely the person you’d want by your side during times of trouble as her support was limitless. Whether you needed a homemade batch of monster cookies or a phone call, she did so with compassion and sometimes even a little sass.  She seldom enjoyed the spotlight, often using her talents and hard-earned skills to express herself. Her children could testify to the amount of time she spent working on these many crafting hobbies throughout their childhood. Anyone who received something from her could testify to the great love that went into it.  In every season of life, Emily was devoted to serving others, always quick to extend herself to the aid of another. In her youth, she took great responsibility in helping to raise herself and her siblings through some difficult situations. As a young adult, her early years were spent working in a nursing home before spending the next 25 years at an assisted living facility where she cared for many adults with special needs. As a wife and mother, her priority was to always maintain a healthy home atmosphere. Warm meals cooked every night, extracurricular activities always attended, and friends always welcome to take over the house. Her final season was perhaps the best. She was able to travel more, start new hobbies, and enjoy the slower pace of life. She enjoyed the freedom of having successfully sent her children off into adulthood and quickly welcomed grandchildren into the continually growing family. Spoiling those grandbabies was always the highlight of her days.   Emily was truly one of a kind and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Wesley Parks; her children Robert Parks, Kansas City, Missouri, Christopher Parks, St Charles, Missouri, Michelle Dewitt, Clever, Missouri and Melissa Alsup, West Plains, Missouri; her sisters, Patti Mason, Auburn, Nebraska and Marsha Eagans, Tarkio, Missouri; her brothers Jim Eagans and Harold Eagans both of Rockport, Missouri and Johnny Eagans, Fairfax, Missouri; and numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles.   She was a proud grandmother to Caleb Dewitt, Avery Dewitt, Ophilia Dewitt, Orion Dewitt, Magnus Parks, Melina Parks, Elizabeth Alsup, Norah Alsup and Adeline Alsup.

She is preceded in death by her parents Ermine Eagans and Dorothy Eagans, one sister Sharon Kincannon and one brother Marvin Eagans.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Thelma Mae Pyne, 89, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 16, 2017 at the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mrs. Pyne passed away at 7:30 a.m., Saturday, January 14, 2017 at NHC HealthCare.

She was born January 21, 1927 at Nampa, Idaho to William O. Skinner and Mary Davis Skinner.  She was married to Charles Weaver who preceded her in death in July of 1982 and was later married to William Pyne.  Before her retirement, she was a LPN.  Mrs. Pyne enjoyed cooking, crocheting and served as a senior companion in Idaho.  She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

She is survived by three children, Anthony Weaver and wife, Reba, West Plains, Missouri, Kenneth Kirk, State of Texas and Victoria Bonville and husband, Lenny, Norfolk, Virginia; seven grandchildren, Andrew Weaver and wife, Cassie, A. J. Weaver and wife, Kayla, Kenneth Foster and wife, Tyana, and Justin Foster and wife, Tawnya, all of West Plains, Missouri, Venus Masoner and husband, Mark, McCook, Nebraska, Crystal Carlson and husband, Terry, Norfolk, Virginia and Leeann Chiplaski and husband, Gregg, Newcook, Nebraska; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Her parents and husbands precede her in death.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, January 15th, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.   Burial will be in the Cloverdale Memorial Park, Boise, Idaho.

Funeral services for Martha Louise McDaniel Blake, 89, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 18, 2017 in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mrs. Blake passed away at 8:05 p.m., Friday, January 13, 2017 at Ozarks Medical Center.

She was born December 23, 1927 at Pickins, Mississippi, to James McDaniel and Edna Toombs McDaniel.  On February 5, 1949, she was married to Raymond Garland Blake who preceded her in death in April, 1972.  Mrs. Blake enjoyed bingo, family ball games, the St. Louis Cardinals and loved her two cats.  She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by three children, Sandra Kostelnik, Raymond Blake and wife, Becky, and Deborah Blake, all of West Plains, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Brandon Blake, Keena Simpson, Greg Jamison, Laurie Kostelnik, Frank Kostelnik, Jr., Jeremy Kostelnik and Destry Shed; twelve great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents, husband, and one daughter, Carolyn Jamison, precede her in death.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Oak Lawn Cemetery.

Visitation service for Michael David Collier, 53, West Plains, Missouri, will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 19, 2017 in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Collier passed away at 8:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at his home.

He was born November 25, 1963 at Houston, Texas to Alan B. Collier Sr. and Lena Dobbs Collier Valle.  Mr. Collier was employed at D.R.S. in West Plains.

He is survived by two children, Johnathon Collier and Cathy Collier, both of West Plains, Missouri; three grandchildren, Rickie Collier, Brycenne Young and Deverick Trainor; his father, Alan Collier, Sr., State of Texas; his mother Lena Valle, West Plains, Missouri; two brothers, Alan B. Collier, Jr., Manhattan, Kansas and Danial Collier, Neosho, Missouri; two sisters, Pamela Parrish and husband, Kenneth, West Plains, Missouri and Penny Roundtree and husband, Mike, Grand Junction, Colorado; one step-brother, Kerry Valle, Lowell, Arkansas; one step-sister, Pamela Murray, Bryant, Arkansas; and several nieces and nephews.

His grandparents, Bryman and Vergie Collier and Anderson and Edna Dobbs, step-father, Ronald Valle and step-brother, Craig Valle, precede him in death.
