Graveside services for Branch Perry Younger, infant son of Cole Younger and Kandis Williams, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 5, 2019 at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Branch passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.

He is survived by his parents, Cole Younger and Kandis Williams, Caulfield, Missouri; three brothers, Rhett Younger, Knox Younger and Case Younger; his grandparents, Diana and Henry Younger, Roseale Williams and husband, Dicky Stirewalt and Bobby and Yvonne Cole; aunts and uncles, Jared and Faith Campbell, Terry Martin and Thomas and Vanessa Williams; special cousins, Cadence Campbell, Caleb Martin, Lyli Williams and Pyper Williams; great grandparents, great aunts and great uncles and many other cousins.

His grandfather, Tom Williams, great-grandfather, Perry L. Younger and uncle, Kevin Martin, preceded him in death.

Branch will lie in state from 9:00 until 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 5th, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Branch Younger Cuddle Cot for Ozarks Medical Center Fund and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mrs. Ryan died 4:11 p.m., Saturday, June 29, 2019 at her home in West Plains.

Funeral services for Craig Dallas Kelly, 45, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 28, 2019 at Trinity Worship Center, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Kelly departed this life June 15, 2019.

He was born April 20, 1974, at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, to Carl Dalton Kelly, Sr. and Marjorie Helen Wickham Kelly.  Craig attended West Plains High School. He was united in marriage to both Sandra Smith and Kristine Johns and even though they were divorced remained extremely close throughout his life. Craig was a good hearted, friendly and an extremely funny person who was kind to all those he interacted with. Throughout his life he served as a prison guard, Parks and Recreation Director, a truck driver and a carpenter. He enjoyed theatre and participated as both an actor/director and singing Karaoke. He loved spending time outside and participating in Larping as Sir Ulfric O’Kelly.  Craig will be remembered as a loving father, son and brother and who was a friend to all. He will be truly missed by all who loved and knew him.

His father and one sister, Catherine Kelly, preceded him in death.

Graveside services for Earl Edmond Callahan, 90, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 1, 2019 at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Callahan passed away at 5:48 p.m., Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Brooke Haven Healthcare.

He was born July 21, 1928, at Amy, Missouri, to John Edmond “Edd” Callahan and Alpha Easley Callahan.  Earl served in the military until he was medically discharged.  He was a heavy machinery operator, a well driller and drove an eighteen-wheeler for many years.  He thoroughly enjoyed running his dogs and hunting with his friends.  Earl was very proud of all of his family.  Mr. Callahan was a Christian.

He is survived by one daughter, Debra Earlene Simmons and husband, Robert, Raymore, Missouri; four grandchildren, Stephanie Wurtz, Sandra Sanders, Michael Swisher and Bradley Simmons; five great-grandchildren, Rachel Sassaman, Alicia Wurtz, Jade, Savannah and Kaleb Sanders; two great-great-grandchildren, Aurora and Leo Sassaman; four sisters, Ella Drumright, Genieve Gentry, Dona Hall, all of West Plains and Lea Langston, Gassville, Arkansas; and many nieces and nephews.

His parents, five brothers, Omer, Jack, Hayden, Winfred and Donnie Callahan and one sister, Agnes Hunt, preceded him in death.

A Celebration of Life service for Reba Maxine Ratliff (Rogers) will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 29, 2019, at Cotton Creek Cemetery, Couch, Missouri.

Reba joined her loved ones in Heaven on November 9, 2018, at the age of 89 years.

Leaving to grieve are many family members and caring staff of Sterling Presbyterian Manor.

We will miss her ornery ways and sweet smile. She was a strong and “tell it like it is” woman. She loved to dance and laugh.

In her memory, give your loved ones a hug and tell them you love them often. Put on a pot of coffee, gather your dears have a seat at your table and talk about the good times.

Stan was born December 22, 1951, to Bill and Reba (Rogers) Ratliff.  He passed away December 8, 2016, at the age of 65 years.  He loved deer hunting, especially with his Uncle Doyle and his brothers; he also enjoyed spending time with his family.  Stan was a truck driver for Swift.

He is survived by three brothers, Bill, Larry and Doug; one sister, Christy; two aunts, Jessie York and Sue Campbell; one uncle, Glen Rogers; and several nieces and nephews; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, Shelby and Mae Rogers and William and Amy Ratliff, one sister Linda Fisher, and one nephew, John Ratliff.

Funeral services for Hollis Vernon Cox, Jr, 82, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, July 1, 2019 at Our Redeemer Cemetery, Affton, Missouri, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Cox passed away at 5:10 p.m., Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at his home.

He was born May 24, 1937, at St. Louis, Missouri, to Hollis Vernon Cox, Sr. and Edith Mae Riggs Cox.  On August 11, 2007, he was married at Hardy, Arkansas, to Susan Larue.  Mr. Cox was a veteran, having served in the United States Army where he was a Military Policeman and received commendations for being a sharpshooter in both rifle and pistol and marksmanship. Before his retirement, Pete was a machinist at Western Wire Products Co., St. Louis, Missouri.  He was an old machinist and was a perfectionist in any projects he worked on.   Pete loved his family and friends and enjoyed hunting and fishing.  Mr. Cox was a Mason.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Cox, of the family home; one daughter, Sharon Ashley and husband, William, Beebe, Arkansas; three step-children, Michelle Everhardt, Kelly Mosher and James Mosher, III; seven grandchildren; ten step-grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.

His parents, one daughter, Donna Cox and one son, Hollis Vernon “Chuck” Cox, III, preceded him in death.

A Celebration of Life service for John Stewart Tuthill, 55, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 29, 2019 at All Saints Episcopal Church.

Mr. Tuthill passed away at 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Ozarks Medical Center.

He was born September 5, 1963, at West Plains, Missouri, to Gerald Clinton Tuthill and Sandra Archambeault Tuthill.  John had worked at Landscape Legends for 22 years and previously was a dairy farmer.  He enjoyed woodworking and playing and coaching softball.  Mr. Tuthill was a Christian.

He is survived by his parents, Gerald and Sandra Tuthill, Pottersville, Missouri; one brother, Michael Tuthill and wife, Karen, Pottersville, Missouri; two sisters, Donna Taylor and husband, Kenneth West Plains, Missouri and Debbie Talbert and husband, Melvin, Billings, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.

His grandparents and one niece, Becki, preceded him in death.

A Memorial Service for Darlene Harriet Holmberg, 89, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 29, 2019 at First United Methodist Church.

Darlene Harriet Holmberg was born August 11, 1929 in Plainview, Nebraska, the daughter of Harry and Emma Irene (Skalberg) Peterson. She died Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Sleepy Oak Place in West Plains, Missouri at the age of 89 years old.

Darlene grew up on a farm near Wausa, Nebraska. She graduated Wausa High School in 1947. Upon graduation she attended North Park College, Chicago, Illinois. In 1949 she met and married her high school pen pal from Palestine, Edmond Azzouni, who also attended North Park. Darlene worked for three years for the Illinois Bell Telephone Company until her husband was drafted into the Marine Corp during the Korean War, which took her to San Diego, California. Between 1952-1981, Darlene resided in California. There she worked in the office of a department store until her husband was released from the Marine Corp. Upon his release, they moved to Los Angeles where she worked for the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company. In 1956 she adopted her first child, a son, Paul, who has three children Jordan, Mariah and Shauna. In 1962, she adopted a daughter, Renee, who has three children, Christina, Shawnee and Frankie. In 1963, she adopted her last child, a daughter, Shelley, who has one child, Emma. During her time in California she travelled extensively to foreign countries as well as making cross county trips throughout the United States and Canada. She was very active in an adoption agency auxiliary, church activities, and her children’s school activities. In the summer of 1981, Darlene moved back to South Dakota working in Sioux Falls. She was the manager of the Bridal Department at Younkers Department Store where she flourished. In 1983, she met Leonard Halweg, and married in 1984. They together bought and sold cattle and managed motels. Darlene was passionate about tax reform for South Dakota and even wrote two initiatives which were approved for the 1994 and 1998 ballot. Darlene always said “God saved the best for last.” In July 2001, she reunited with a school boy friend from Wausa, Nebraska, Carlton Holmberg. On November 7, 2001 she married Carlton in Omaha, Nebraska. They moved to West Plains, Missouri in 2005 to be centrally located to family members in various states. They attended the Open Door Worship until its closing. They became members of the First United Methodist Church of West Plains, Missouri. They travelled extensively going on 6 cruises and various other trips. They also spent a lot of time with their granddaughter, Emma from Alabama.

Darlene is survived by her husband, Carlton Holmberg, West Plains, Missouri; three children, Paul Azzouni, Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, Renee Azzouni Williams,  Lancaster, California and Shelley Azzouni, Birmingham, Alabama; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; one sister, Florence Doran, Lincoln, Nebraska; two brothers, Sterling Peterson (Barb) of Omaha, Nebraska and Merle Peterson (Maxine) of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Darlene was always grateful to God for the life she lived and the blessings she was given. She was a loving wife and an amazing mother and friend to all. Throughout her journey she met a lot of people along the way but more importantly she touched many people’s lives with her warm and kind personality, her gracious heart, her beautiful blue eyes and giving spirit. She was an inspiration to many.

Mrs. Guy passed away at 10:08 p.m., Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Ozarks Medical Center.

She was born October 18, 1935, at Lynchburg, Missouri, to Andrew T. Wilson and Eva Louise Dobbs Wilson.  Mary attended school at Brandsville, Missouri.  She was married to Billy Dean Guy, who preceded her in death on July 18, 2012.  She enjoyed quilting and word search puzzles.  Before her retirement, she had worked at Maxine’s Steakhouse and had been a housekeeper for the David Gohn home and Frank and Jessie Farrier’s home.  Mrs. Guy was a Christian.

She is survived by two children, Billy Guy, Jr. and wife, Wanda, West Plains, Missouri and Joyce Combs and husband, Gordon, Wellston, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Tiffany Woods and husband, Thomas, Bradley Guy and wife, Rhaquinda, Stefanie Frutchey and husband, Brian and Addison Guy and wife, Emily; nineteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Helen Melton, Thayer, Missouri; several close friends at Courtyard Estates; and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents, husband, three brothers and three sisters, preceded her in death.

Funeral services for Murline Marie Peterson, 90, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 27, 2019 in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mrs. Peterson passed away at 8:10 a.m., Sunday, June 23, 2019 at her home.

From her birth in the Crider/Pottersville area on June 7, 1929, to her death, she nurtured people around her with love and faith.  She was born to Edward Emmanuel and Vesta (Lawing) Callahan and was the oldest of 12 children.
As a young woman she moved to Nebraska where she met her husband Jack Peterson. They were married August 13, 1953, in West Plains. The couple had three children: Rick, Joyce and Jo Anne. The family lived in Omaha, Nebraska and returned to West Plains after Jack’s untimely death in 1964.  Murline lived out the rest of her life in West Plains where she was an active member of the congregation at the Central Church of Christ.  She worked at International Shoe Factory until her retirement in 1989. Murline was an avid quilter and gardener. She loved making quilts and tending to her rose garden.

She has seven grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, who brought much joy and happiness.

Murline was preceded in death by her husband, parents, four brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by one sister, Loverne DeShazo and husband Mike; four brothers, Dewayne Callahan and wife, Shirley, Verbal Callahan and wife, Laureen, Leon Callahan and Leolen Callahan and wife, Lisa; children Rick, Joyce Sanders and husband, Terry, and Jo Anne Baltzell and husband, Darrel; grandchildren, Bryan Peterson, Sunny Redfield, Jennifer Graviett, Jaclyn Gimlin, Andrea Belcher, Grant Peterson and Cody Sanders; and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Frankie Marie Tyree, 92, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 27, 2019 in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mrs. Tyree passed away at 2:45 a.m., Sunday, June 23, 2019 at West Vue Nursing Center, surrounded by her family.

She was born October 21, 1926, at Bakersfield, Missouri, being the oldest daughter of William Pete Fore and Faye Hughes Fore.  Frankie graduated from Bakersfield High School in 1945 and earned a Bachelor and Master’s Degree from Drury University.  She began her teaching career at Stoney Point in rural Howell County.  On June 4, 1955, she was married at Mountain Home, Arkansas, to Eldon Ray Tyree, who preceded her in death on December 18, 2014.  She spent the next forty-two years teaching at Bakersfield, Missouri, Mountain Home, Arkansas, South Fork and West Plains, Missouri schools.  After retiring from teaching, Frankie and Eldon traveled extensively visiting forty-eight states in the United States and several Canadian provinces.  Frankie enjoyed helping Eldon on the farm, gardening, quilting and playing card games with her many friends.  Mrs. Tyree was a Baptist in faith and attended United Free Will Baptist Church in West Plains.

She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Vadna and Floyd Jr. Bench; and many nieces, nephews and in-laws.

Her parents, husband of 59 ½ years, Eldon, one brother, Billy Joe Fore and one sister-in-law, Donna Lois Fore and one nephew, James Michael Harris, preceded her in death.

Funeral services for Harold Lynn Moushon, 82, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 23, 2019 in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Moushon passed away at 5:20 p.m., Thursday, June 20, 2019 at his home.

He was born July 2, 1936, at East Peoria, Illinois, to Lester Lee Moushon and Mary Martha Burroughs Moushon.  On September 4, 1956, he was married at Hernando, Mississippi, to Connie Bolen.  Mr. Moushon had been a farmer, a logger, had operated a construction company and for a number of years he was a truck driver alongside his wife.  He loved his family and working; he adored his grandchildren and loved holidays and time with family.  Mr. Moushon was strong in his Christian faith.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Connie Moushon; four children, Deborah Brian and husband, Joseph, West Plains, Missouri, Benita Moushon, North Little Rock, Arkansas, Bruce Moushon, Skitook, Oklahoma and Liese Jewell, Groveland, Illinois; eight grandchildren, Daniel Evans, Tom Westbrook, Kelita Skinner, Joshua Moushon, Zachary Moushon, Morgan Biddle, Dakota Moushon and Tyler Jewell; sixteen great-grandchildren, Caitlyn, Halo, Harmony, Hope, Brody,  Isabell, Holden, Kaylie, Athens, Elijah, Thomas, Bonhom, Omiah, Aaboht, Allison and Kody; two brothers, Wayne Moushon and wife, Agnes, Brimfield, Illinois, Harlan Moushon, Morton, Illinois; one sister, Martha Tendall and husband, Russell, Seneca, Illinois; one brother-in-law, Cleo Koch, Tremont, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.

His parents, one granddaughter, Amanda Jewell, one great-granddaughter, Ruby Westbrook, daughter-in-law, Rhonda Moushon, four brothers and one sister, preceded him in death.

Mrs. Crites passed away Sunday, June 16, 2019 at Brookdale Lakeview Assisted Living, Chicago, Illinois.

She was born January 4, 1921, in West Plains, Missouri, to William B. Ford and Bessie Edna Adams Ford.  She was married to Harold Crites, who preceded her in death on May 27, 2006.  Mrs. Crites had worked for a number of years for Montgomery-Ward.  She was a member of Eastern Star and enjoyed gardening, cooking, spending time with her family and playing cards.  Mrs. Crites was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by one daughter, Linda Barder and husband, Fredrick, Chicago, Illinois; one grandson, Samuel Barder, Chicago, Illinois; one sister, Bernice Richards, West Plains, Missouri, sister-in-law, Sally Ford, West Plains, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents, husband, two brothers, Henry Ford and Floyd Ford, four sisters, infant Thelma Ford, Minnie Davidson, Lorene Melching and Velma Jolliff, preceded her in death.

She was born August 3, 1932, at West Plains, Missouri, to Carl Courtney Bray and Lula Eldora Dotson-Porter Bray.  Vesta enjoyed gardening, going to yard sales and making hats.  She was a member of Endurance Church.

She is survived by five children, Verne Harper, Tyler, Texas, John Harper, Jr. and wife, Esther, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Garry Harper and wife, Julie, Mountain Home, Idaho, Mari Orr and husband, Charles, Chandler, Arizona and Marj Thompson and husband, Byron, Columbia, Missouri; the father of her children, J. D. She was born July 31, 1924, near Burnham, Missouri, to Lessie Sherman McClellan and Cora Ellen Keeler McClellan.  She received her high school education in Willow Springs, Missouri and worked her way through college in Bolivar, Missouri.  On March 31, 1944, she was married at Salem, Arkansas, to Earl Dene Robertson, who preceded her in death on January 2, 2017.  Mrs. Robertson was a hard worker.  She helped her husband with the farm, raised big gardens each year, canned, quilted beautiful quilts and taught grade school for thirty-eight years.  Mrs. Robertson loved to sing at her church and taught Sunday School class.  She read her Bible daily and lived by it.  Mrs. Robertson attended Harbor of Hope Church until her health failed; she had Alzheimer’s disease for almost fifteen years.

She is survived by two children, Shirley Robertson and Sherman Robertson; two grandchildren, Christopher Wayne Robertson and wife, Misty and Zachary Dene Robertson and wife, Pam; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Eula Turner, Willow Springs, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.

Her parents, husband, four brothers, Johnnie, Clyde, Leslie and Leon McClellan and one sister, Dorothy Lawson preceded her in death.

The family would like to thank two wonderful caregivers that helped keep Ruth at her home, Janis Adams and Sharlene Lankford.  Also, a special thanks to Hospice Compassus for their help and to nurse, Traci Asher.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.  Burial will be in the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Graveside services for Robert Michael Long, 71, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 21, 2019 at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Long passed away at 12:53 a.m., Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at his home.

He was born January 14, 1948, at West Plains, Missouri, to Robert T. Long and Emma Jean Gray Long.  Mr. Long was a veteran, having served with the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict.  On January 23, 1976, he was married at Miami, Oklahoma, to Karen Garlock.  Before his retirement, Mike was a truck driver for Yellow Freight.  He was a member of Teamsters and was a 32^nd degree Mason.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Long; two children, Vanessa Findley and husband, Drew and Robert Long, II, two grandsons, Nicholas and Keldon Findley; one brother, Ronald Long and wife, Bethel; two sisters, Ann Cannon and Debbie Long; and several nieces and nephews.

His parents, one son, Jared Long and one sister, Joan Collins, preceded him in death.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be made to OMC Cancer Treatment Center and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Ronald Lee Nale, 81, Pomona, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 15, 2019 at New Hope Baptist Church, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Nale passed away at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Ozarks Medical Center.

He was born December 10, 1937, at Hamburg, Iowa, to Clinton A. Nale and Eula Celia Crabtree Nale.  Ronald graduated from West Plains High School with the Class of 1956.  On November 20, 1958, he was married at Mountain View, Missouri, to Charlotte E. Holden.  Mr. Nale was a member of the Missouri National Guard and was a farmer and a carpenter.  He enjoyed hunting.  Mr. Nale was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Nale, of the family home; two children, Ronda Love and husband, Daryl, Cairo, Georgia and Brian Nale and wife, Donna, Pomona, Missouri; one granddaughter, Erin Shrable and husband, Kaleb; two step-grandchildren, Jessica Durante and husband, Greg and Keri Love; three great-grandchildren, Easton, Koy and Everly; one step-grandchild, Parker; one uncle, Donald “Bud Nale; and his beagle dog, Molly.

His parents preceded him in death.

Visitation will be held prior to the service, from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., Saturday, at New Hope Baptist Church.  Burial will be in the New Hope Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to New Hope Cemetery and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Celebration of Life services will be held at a later date in Moline, Illinois, for Dorothy Levena Duncan, 90, West Plains, Missouri.

Mrs. Duncan passed away at 3:56 a.m., Sunday, June 9, 2019 at West Vue Nursing Center.

She was born June 25, 1928, at Beardstown, Illinois, to Claude Riggs Turley and Nina F. Bridgeman Turley.  On October 23, 1948, she was married at Galesburg, Illinois, to Jack W. Duncan, who preceded her in death in 2008.

She is survived by two children, Richard L. Duncan and wife, Beverly and David R. Duncan and wife, Vicki; daughter-in-law, Dian Duncan; nine grandchildren, Amy Sargeant, Matthew Duncan, Michael Camery and wife, Sharyl, Jenny Riggins, Kim Booth and wife, Lucece, Lynn Blazer and husband, Jim, Debbie Wheeler and husband, Ron, Lisa Etter and husband, Johnnie and Scott Brockmeyer; eleven great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents, husband, one son, Larry Duncan, five brothers and two sisters, preceded her in death.

Graveside services for Kashtin Trip Collins, stillborn infant son of Ashtin Collins and Morgan Baker, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 7, 2019 in Babyland at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Kashtin went to be with the Angels on Saturday, June 1, 2019.

He is survived by his parents, Ashtin Collins and Morgan Baker; one brother, William Baker; and his grandparents, Kip Collins, Missy Cronin, James Baker and Rachael Baker.
