Mrs. Snethern passed away at 1:50 p.m., Thursday, January 21, 2021, at Mercy St. Francis Hospital, Mountain View, Missouri.
She was born November 24, 1972, at Bakersfield, California, to Johnny Ray and Janet Sue Roberts. On February 19, 1992, she was married at West Plains, Missouri, to Curt Snethern. Tammy was a registered surgical technician. She enjoyed gardening and being outdoors, her dog, Maggie, chickens, reading, camping and fishing. Tammy was always there to help anyone in need.
She is survived by her husband, Curt Snethern; two children, Courtney Nichole Snethern and Jessy Snethern, all of West Plains; her mother, Janet Sue Roberts; grandmother, Joyce Roberts; one brother, John Ray Roberts, Jr.; one brother-in-law, Jeff Snethern and wife, Anita; three sisters-in-law, Charlotte Bray and husband, Gene, Candie Holden and husband, Galen and Crystal Courtney and husband, Trent; and many nieces and nephews.
Her father, one nephew, Paul Allen Marshall, Jr., one niece, Kiara McKenzie Holden and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mary Ellen and J. C. Snethern, preceded her in death.

Ridge went to be with the Angels at 4:07 p.m., Friday, January 15, 2021, at Ozarks Medical Center.
He was born January 15, 2021, weighting 3 pounds 6 ½ ounces and 16 ¾ inches in height.
He is survived by his mother, Taylor Tilson; his father, Cameron Shaver; and many loved ones.

She was born May 14, 1936, at Nettleton, Arkansas, to Hubert Franklin Shannon and Mary Etta (Pendergrass) Shannon. She was married to Norman Glynn Taylor March 28, 1953 in New Buffalo, Michigan. She was married to Eldon Ray (Buddy) Summers January 31, 1959 in West Plains, Missouri. Mrs. Summers was a member of the Elk Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Church in West Plains, Missouri where she served as an Elder. She worked at International Shoe Company for 20 plus years. She had many hobbies which include painting, quilting, gardening, traveling, entertaining family and friends and helping her husband on the family farm.
She is survived by three children, Donna Jeffus and husband, Charles, Camden, Arkansas, Tracy Jones and husband, Rick West Plains, Missouri and Randall Gene Summers, West Plains, Missouri; nine grandchildren, Jason Brian Koonce and wife, Lori, Pineville, Missouri, Robert Shawn Blackburn (Crystal), Camden, Arkansas, Aaron Kennedy, Springfield, Missouri, Krista Ousley and husband, Jeremiah, West Plains, Missouri, Megan (Dwayne Gallagher Jr), Ian Summers, Caleb Summers all of Camden, Arkansas, Rachel (Cody Ratton), Chidester, Arkansas and Alexis Jones, Springfield, Missouri; nine great-grandchildren, Abby Patterson and husband, Matthew, Bryant, Arkansas, Alexander Blackburn, Esther Blackburn, Michael Biggers, Wesley McDivitt, Aidan Gallagher all of Camden, Arkansas, Heartlee Ratton,, Chidester Arkansas, Lindsey Busby and Hailey Busby, Centerton, Arkansas; two great-great-grandchildren, Rowan Patterson, Bryant, Arkansas and Wyatt Robbins, Centerton, Arkansas; one brother, Harold Franklin Shannon and wife, Anna Faye, Henderson, Arkansas; and many nieces, nephews and cousins that she loved so dearly.

Mrs. Jeffery passed away at 2:43 a.m., Sunday, January 17, 2021, at her home.
She was born November 7, 1948, at Cureall, Missouri, to Edward Eugene Roberts and Louise Tackitt Roberts. On May 30, 1976, she was married at Pottersville, Missouri, to Robert Dwayne Jeffery, who preceded her in death on June 5, 2015. Before her retirement, Mrs. Jeffery worked at Baxter Lab. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and enjoyed singing and gardening. Mrs. Jeffery was a member of Gospel Hill Church of Christ.
She is survived by her daughter, Pam Sletten and husband, Neil, West Plains; seven grandchildren, J.R. Puckett, Jordan Puckett and significant other, Kris Buchinsky, Victoria Sletten and significant other, Justin Piatt, Jordan Sletten and wife, Haley, Justin Sletten, Dakota Sletten and wife, Catherine and Holly Bise; thirteen great-grandchildren and one on the way, Seth, Isaac, Kadrin, Wesson, David, Havyn, Zoey, Alex, Brooklyn, Lilly, Ruger, Rohen, Jameson and expecting Syrilla; and several nieces and nephews.

She was born March 10, 1947, at West Plains, Missouri, to Dee Thompson and Vivian Marshall. Dorothy attended West Plains High School and graduated with the Class of 1965. She liked to sing karaoke and play bingo. Dorothy loved life and people; she had many friends. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
She is survived by her daughter, Angela Survillo and friend, Brandon Parrish, West Plains; her son, Gregory Miller and friend, Kristin Johnson, Overland, Missouri; two grandchildren, Khristine Eley, St. Charles, Missouri and Haley Miller, Argyle, Texas; one great-grandchild, Skyy Collins, West Plains; one brother, Jack Heath, Elizabeth, Kentucky; two sisters, Pearl Lung, Sage, Arkansas and Linda Layton, St. Louis, Missouri; and extended family and friends.

Mr. Chamberlain passed away at 4:02 a.m., Friday, January 15, 2021, at NHC HealthCare.
He was born September 14, 1927, at Pomona, Missouri, to Herbert L. Chamberlain and Sadie Clinton Rainer Chamberlain. D.T. graduated from Willow Springs High School. On September 23, 1955, he was married at Tupelo, Mississippi, to Alice Brazeal. Mr. Chamberlain was a veteran, having served with the United States Army. He worked as a livestock dealer; buying and selling hogs at the West Plains City Scales for over fifty years. D.T. loved to farm and spent his spare time on the family’s farm raising cattle, hogs and chickens. He was the owner of Chamberlain Auto Sales as well as a real estate agent for Laurin Realty. D.T. was very active in the West Plains community, serving many years on the Board of Wood and Huston Bank, MFA Oil, The Missouri Pork Producers and acted as the Secretary of The Farm Bureau for a time as well. He was an avid supporter and delivery man for his wife’s Avon business, spending over fifty years delivering Avon products. He looked forward to summertime where he would drive to the boot hill to purchase truckloads of peaches to deliver to his friends in the West Plains community. He loved to socialize and never met a stranger, no matter where he was. He always had a smile on his face and a story to tell. Mr. Chamberlain was of the Assembly of God faith.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Chamberlain, of the family home; three children, Danny Chamberlain and wife, Nancy, Springfield, Missouri, Danna Nelson and husband, Tony, Central City, Iowa and Diana Haeffner, West Plains; five grandchildren, Shannon Kiefer and husband, Chris, Brandon Chamberlain, Joshua Cannon and wife, Samantha, Zachary Haeffner and special friend, Sherri and Jordan Cannon and wife, Mary; six great-grandchildren, Gracie Watson, Logan Watson, Harmony Haeffner, Cade Kiefer, Nash Cannon and Brynlee Cannon; and one sister-in-law, Ruby Veon, Red Oak, Iowa.
His parents, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Cleo and Roy Brazeal, three sisters-in-law, Violet, Barbara and Letha and four brothers-in-law, Harry, Cliff, Michael and Lane, preceded him in death.

She was born January 5, 1990, at Barstow, California, to Steven L. Voegeli and Terri L. Leader. On April 5, 2018, she was married at Alton, Missouri, to Dustin Warren. Amanda loved her girls and her family. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her husband, Dustin Warren, of the family home; three daughters, Isabella, Kadynce and Emersyn; her father and step-mother, Steven and Mary Jane Voegeli, Birmingham, Alabama; two brothers, James Albritton and wife, Leanne and Nicholas Voegeli and wife, Danielle; one step-sister, Shannon Lewis and husband, Virgil; and two special friends, Kandi Fuselier and husband, L. B. and Capri Turner and husband, Jeremy.

He was born January 11, 1933, at Roosevelt, Missouri, to Larkin McKinley Collins and Ida Blanche Roper Collins. On August 7, 1954, he was married to Mary Francis Owen Collins in Howell County, Missouri. Mr. Collins was of the Church of Christ faith. He worked at Marathon Electric until his retirement. Ival was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather in which he placed his family before himself and above all others to which he instilled his love for music, country and bluegrass especially.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-six years, Mary Collins, of the family home; four children, Morgan Collins and wife, Terry, Caulfield, Missouri, Galen Collins and wife, Margaret, Caulfield, Missouri, Teresa Goodpasture, Flippin, Arkansas, Terena Hudson and husband, Lionel, Caulfield, Missouri; two brothers, Roger Collins and wife, Harrietta, Bakersfield, Missouri and Paul Collins, Gainesville, Missouri; two sisters, Loeta White, West Plains and Naomi Bunch Painter, West Plains; special family friend, Dorothy Stigall, Mountain Grove, Missouri; Grandpa Ival proudly had eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends of the family who lovingly called him Grandpa Ival.

She was born December 14, 1943, at West Plains, Missouri, to Leo E. Philpott and Rosa P. Garver Philpott. On September 7, 1990, she was married at West Plains, by Frank Hall, to her one and only, Earnest Martin Moerschel. Ardena worked as a cook at Maxine’s Steakhouse for many years. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends. She also enjoyed writing songs, playing guitar, singing with her family and painting. Mrs. Moerschel was a well known and a very kind loving woman. Ardena will be missed by all.
She is survived by her husband of thirty-one years, Earnest Martin Moerschel; four children, Sheila Collins, James Collins and Melissa Collins, all of Willow Springs, Missouri and Laura Collins, Abilene, Kansas; sixteen grandchildren, Kennan Collins, Kaleb Collins, Nicole Wofford, Tyler Collins, TaKeshia Collins, Anna Laws, Ashley Collins, Brandon Collins, James Collins, Jr., Aaron Collins, Anthony Collins, Stephanie Collins, Sheanna Collins, William Collins, Cody Davidson and Bradley Davidson; numerous great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was born December 24, 1947, at Monett, Arkansas, to Orvil J. Basinger and Ida Baxter Basinger. She was married on March 5, 2010, at West Plains, Missouri, to Robert Henry. Mrs. Henry was the owner and operator of Sue’s Barber Shop for several years. Sue loved the Lord and told everyone about him. In her younger years, she loved to play pool and bingo.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Henry; two children, Sandra Allen and husband, Greg and James A. Sturgeon; two beautiful granddaughters, Kirsten Allen and Erin Tucker; one great-grandson, Reilly Tucker; siblings, Bill Basinger, Don Basinger, Mona Basinger and husband, Todd, Jerry Basinger and wife, Donna, Janice Larmore and husband, Bill, Rodger McCord and Irvin McCord and wife, Debra; and many nieces and nephews.

She was born August 18, 1932, at Moko, Arkansas, to Anderson Ward and Elsie Busbey Ward. On November 12, 1949, she was married at Sturkie, Arkansas, to Boyd Lavern Kinder, who preceded her in death on January 4, 2011. Mrs. Kinder loved her family and enjoyed cooking. She was a Christian.
She is survived by seven children, Evelyn McNair and husband, Ralph, Roger Kinder and wife, Cheryl, Terry Kinder and wife, Tammy, Rhonda Waggoner and husband, Kirby, Phillip Kinder, Lesa Strosnider and Kevin Kinder and wife, heather; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Minge passed away at 2:53 p.m., Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at his home.
He was born March 27, 1949, at Viola, Arkansas, to Lehman Mitchell Minge and Wanda Va Cameron Minge. On January 24, 2011, he was married at West Plains, Missouri, to Susan Diltz. Mr. Minge was a veteran, having served with the United States Navy; he was assigned to USS Tulare and was commended with National Defense Service Medal and Vietnam Service Medal with One Bronze Star. Lonnie loved his family and his wife. He enjoyed hunting, fishing in Bass tournaments, farming, woodworking and riding motorcycles.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Minge, of the family home; two children, Lee Minge and wife, Carrie, West Plains and Lance Minge, Mountain Grove, Missouri; two step-children, Jacob Prime and wife, Katylinn, Johnson, Iowa and Kaci Collins and husband, Cody, West Plains; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his mother, Wanda Minge, Moody, Missouri; one brother, Larry Minge and wife, Judy, Moody, Missouri; one sister, Karen Summers and husband, Bill, Bakersfield, Missouri; two sisters-in-law, Joan Minge and Kathy Minge; and several nieces and nephews.

He was born November 11, 1956, at Springfield, Missouri, to Larry Von Johnson and Ginger Lee Gullic Johnson. On May 20, 1979, he was married at West Plains, Missouri, to Shannon Lamons, who preceded him in death on January 31, 2013. Paul enjoyed farming, woodworking, hunting and fishing. He loved his grandchildren and his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by three children, Brandy Bragg, St. Louis, Missouri, Gretchen Davis and husband, Carl and Heather Croney and husband, Travis, all of West Plains; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lisa Eades and husband, Michael and Kaye Surface and husband, Stacey, all of West Plains; one sister-in-law, Debbie Henry and husband, Michael; special friend, Sandy Wheatley; and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Launius passed away at 7:55 a.m., Monday, January 4, 2021, at her home.
She was born July 20, 1937, at West Plains, Missouri, to Ray Crow and Rosa Knox Crow. Irma was born, married and died on the family homestead. On February 7, 1959, she was married to Kineth Galin Launius. She loved her God and all things good and simple. Mrs. Launius drove a school bus for over thirty years in West Plains and in the State of California for special needs kids for several years. She enjoyed her job and loved the children. Mrs. Launius was a passionate advocate for the underdog; she loved irises, lilacs and all things purple. She especially loved her family, friends and community. She enjoyed canning, sewing and being a blessing. Irma moved from a peaceful sleep to her eternal life; she would have said “It couldn’t have been any better.”
She is survived by her husband, Kineth Launius, of the family home; one son, Grant Launius and wife, Pam, West Plains; five grandchildren, David Murdy, West Plains, Christina Daily and husband, Tim, West Plains, Heather Murdy, West Plains, Donna-Jean Acosta and husband, Dalton, Silver Springs, Nevada and Sarah Murdy, West Plains; and seven great-grandchildren, Aidan, Miguel, Kenneth Lee, Max, Amaya-Marie, Lucas and Zephaniah.

Private services will be held for Thelma Christine Watkins, 101, formerly of West Plains, Missouri and a resident of Springfield, Missouri since 2015.
Mrs. Watkins passed away of natural causes on Sunday, January 3, 2021, at her home.
She was born November 17, 1919, at Hookerton, North Carolina, to Emmett C. Hoffman and Nannie Whaley Hoffman. She graduated from high school in 1936 and became a registered nurse prior to the start of WWII. While serving her country as a nurse and 1st Lieutenant, Thelma was stationed at various places in Europe and was active in the Rhineland campaign. While stationed in France, she met her future husband. On October 7, 1948, she was married at St. Louis, Missouri, to William H. (Bill) Watkins, who preceded her in death on November 11, 1998. After the war, she graduated from University of North Carolina with a Public Health Certification. Mrs. Watkins worked at the West Plains Memorial Hospital from 1963 through 1979 as a surgical nurse.
She is survived by her son, George Watkins and wife, Margaret, Springfield, Missouri and their two sons, Matthew and Todd, Austin, Texas; two sisters, Faye Cox and Nannie May Barrow, State of North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents and husband preceded her in death.
Virgelene Nelson, 85, West Plains, Missouri, passed away at 6:45 a.m., Saturday, January 2, 2021, at Mountain View Healthcare. Arrangements under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
James Lawrence Barker, 74, West Plains, Missouri, passed away at 9:57 a.m., Saturday, December 26, 2020, at his home.
He was born March 13, 1946, at Ferriday, Louisiana, to George Barker and Thelma Cox Barker. On October 23, 2018, he was married at Ash Flat, Arkansas, to Mary Barnes. Mr. Barker loved fishing and enjoyed reading.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Barker, of the family home; six children, Renee Neal, Belinda Steele and husband, Richard and Tammy Cox and husband, David, all of West Plains, Sherry Ogden, State of Montana, James (Bub) Barker and wife, Cassie and Judson Barker, all of Jonesville, Louisiana; thirteen grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
His parents, one daughter, Georgia Barker, one granddaughter, Kimberly Johnson and one sister, Camille Ramsey, preceded him in death.
Graveside services for Lyndall Kay Kuk, 71, Caulfield, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at Baptist Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Kuk passed away at 11:48 p.m., Sunday, January 3, 2021, at her home.
She was born May 20, 1949, at Elijah, Missouri, to Sherman Ellison and Ruth Felma Halford Ellison. Lyndall attended school at Bakersfield, Missouri. On July 27, 1968, she was married at Egypt Grove, Missouri, to James Michael Kuk, who preceded her in death on April 11, 2008; together they raised three sons. Lyndall was a hard worker and though she had a variety of jobs her most beloved work was that of homemaker and mother. She loved to garden and watch her birds with her companions of many years- Bambi and Missy.
She is survived by three sons, Kenneth Kuk and wife, Liz, Caulfield, Missouri, Keith Kuk and wife, Vicki, Salem, Arkansas and Kevin Kuk and wife, Anne, Bakersfield, Missouri; ten grandchildren. Michael, Lynsey, Mikey, Brandan, Kelsey, Danielle, Keegan, Abby, Samantha and Jordan; 17 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Donald Ellison and wife, Georgia and Dennis Ellison and wife, Laura; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister Rosa Lee Burr, brother-in-law, Clay Burr and one nephew, Dakota Ellison.
Visitation service will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Baptist Hill Cemetery and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 West Main, West Plains, MO 65775.
A memorial service will be held at a later date for Michael Patrick Moffis, 60, West Plains, Missouri.
Mr. Moffis passed away at 9:59 a.m., Friday, January 1, 2021, at Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.
He was born January 5, 1960, at West Plains, to Doyle and Rosa Freeman Moffis. Besides his grandchildren, Michael’s passion was model trains and he was a founding member of the West Plains Model Railroad Club.
Michael is survived by his wife of thirty-eight years, Karen Anderson Moffis; two sons, Steven Moffis and Evan Moffis and wife, Megan; step-son, David Biring and wife, Denise; eleven grandchildren, Gideon, Eli, Thaddaeus, Cora, Lainey, Matthias, Mykul, Jonas, Esaias, Sadie, and Emery; brother-in-law, Mike Anderson; niece, Lorenda Roberson; nephew, Joe Anderson; uncle, Hobert Moffis; and several great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Doyle and Rosa Moffis, one brother, Rickey, one sister, Pam and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jack and Pauline Anderson.
